Boston: The most talented city in the world

According to the newest white paper by The Chamber, with support from PwC and Bentley University, Boston may just be the most talented major metropolitan area in the world.  The Global Talent Index, which looked at 30 major cities in the world including cities in Asia (Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, etc.), the Pacific (Sydney), Europe (London, Paris, Oslo, etc.), and North America (the 15 largest cities in the country including San Francisco, New York, Chicago, etc.), looked at three different talent indicators.  Two of these indicators were related to the talent of the population, and one indicator related to the output of the talent.  In the Index, Boston ranked second to London for our quality of academic instutitions, fifth for the percentage of the population with a bachelor's degree or higher, and fourth for the number of generated patents.  These overall scores allowed Boston to be ranked first overall on the Global Talent Index.
