The goal of this initiative is to connect college students with Boston-area employers through high-value, experience-based internships. Phone Interviews

After applying for an internship, many companies will ask that an applicant participate in a phone interview before scheduling one face-to-face.  Some companies use this to hear the applicant's phone presence, to narrow the applicant pool, etc.  So what are the keys to a good phone interview?  The Metro has some ideas in this article:
